Regional Water Authority Hunze en Aa’s

The Regional Water Authority “Waterschap Hunze en Aa’s” is responsible for safe sea dykes and storage basin embankments, for sufficient, clean surface water and for accessible waterways the Northern part of the Netherlands. The construction of fish passes, carrying out habitat reconstruction projects in rivers and constructing nature friendly embankments in our canals are an important part of our work.
